Titleist Scotty Cameron Special Select Newport 2.5 Putter
Milled in the USA, Scotty Cameron has taken yet another step in making the finest milled putters in the world, even finer, with the Special Select Series. All your favorite, timeless designs are back and with input from the greatest tour players. Performance-Balanced Weighting refers to the customizable sole weights used to increase stability and enhance feel. These weights are tungsten in the blade models, and stainless steel in the mallets, and have varying weights depending on the length of the putter. The Special Selects are milled in the USA from a block of 303 stainless steel, which delivers an extremely soft feel and the largest sweet spot out of any Select line. The face height, hosel depth, neck position, flange thickness, and topline have all been tweaked to create a sleeker, attention-grabbing, and tour-inspired profile at address.
The Newport 2.5 is a traditional blade featuring a thinner topline and a tri-sole design. This sole immediately grounds the club at setup and provides a confident, square head at address. The small slant neck enhances the view at address and creates a higher toe flow. This suits the player with an arc to their stroke.
