Designed with input from Rickie Fowler, the TP5 pix Golf Balls from Taylormade have an extreme focus on alignment and visibility. Visual technology called ClearPath Alignment, refers to the strategic placement of the word Taylormade, white spacing, and the orange portion of the triangle graphics. These 3 aspects appear to create an alignment track. The Pix design is more subtle than the original, but will still be beneficial when tracking the ball in flight.

The TP5 has 5-piece construction with a soft-tough cast urethane cover. This cover provides better groove interaction and more greenside spin. The XL low compression core increases launch angle and reduces drag. The Speed Layer System features a material called HFM. HFM is more flexible, which improves energy transfer with a quicker rebound effect. This leads to higher ball speed. The TP5 will feel softer, spin more, and fly at a mid-trajectory in comparison to its TP5x brother.
