The Ping Glide Forged Pro Wedge was custom engineered through consultation with Ping pros for a wedge tailored to shot makers.  The Glide Forged Pro Wedge is forged from 8620 carbon steel with precision-machined grooves for more predictable, consistent strokes. The new face blast adds even more friction for increased spin and control across the entire range of lofts and sole grinds.

Tour Inspired After conferring with Tour staff and brand ambassadors, Ping engineers designed the Glide Forged Pro to appeal to players who put a premium on precision shot making with consistency around the greens.

Compact Profile The Ping Glide Forged Pro Wedge is smaller from heel to toe, forged from 8620 carbon steel which creates a captured look at address.  This provides the confidence necessary to manipulate the clubhead and execute any shot type.

Friction Face The precision-milled face and grooves combined with the new Friction Face textured surface blast creates more friction and more interaction between the club and the ball.  This aids in creating more spin and lower launch.

Custom Tailored to Your Game With multiple sole grind options, “S” and “T”, there is a wedge choice to match your play style, angle of attack and most common turf type. 

EYE2 Toe 59° Configuration The Ping EYE2 Wedge face profile inspired the "S" grind 59° option, which is distinguished by the high toe design made popular by Karsten Solheim’s iconic sand wedge developed in the early 1980s. It features a blended hosel and a more traditional sole design than the original with approximately 1.5° less bounce than the other "S" grind lofts.

Ping Z-Z115 Wedge Shaft This shaft provides lower to mid launch with more control and enhanced feel.  Combining this shaft with a lightweight grip contributes to an overall weight reduction for the entire club.
