The Mizuno Pro 225 Iron is the second generation of Mizuno’s wildly popular Hot Metal Blade and is now the most playable iron of the Mizuno Pro series.  A newer, more compact version with a revised CORTECH multi-thickness face for faster ballspeeds and hotter launch off the sweet spot.  The Pro 225 iron is constructed using Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forging process combined with a soft copper underlay for a uniquely satisfying feel and sound at impact.

Refined Weighting The long irons feature a 28.5g tungsten weight to produce more stable flight and enhanced ball speeds.

Grain Flow Forged The Mizuno Pro 225 irons are Grain Flow Forged in Hiroshima, Japan, using 4135 Chromoly Face & Neck – consistently 0.2mm thinner across the CORTECH face.

Soft Copper Underlay A microlayer of copper beneath Nickel Chrome makes for the purest, softest feel made famous by the iconic TN87.

Enhanced Scoring Irons 9-PW of the Pro 225 irons are made from 1025E pure select mild carbon steel with a stabilizing back weight for more precision on every approach.

Blade Profile The Mizuno Pro 225 Irons pack high launching performance with a true blade profile at address as well as in the bag, because we all know that matters.
