The Ping i59 Iron Set features an aerospace-grade AlumiCore aluminum insert paired with a forged 1025 carbon steel body with a 17-4stainless steel laser-cut face.  Combining these performance technologies provides crisp, consistent impact with flighted trajectory and reliable distance.  Throughout the development of the i59 iron, Ping’s innovation and engineering teams worked towards perfecting the manufacturing process for in-depth inspection and quality control of numerous processes including forging, machining, sole shaping and final polishing.

AlumiCore Technology the aerospace-grade aluminum insert redistributes 30 grams of weight from the center of the club to the perimeter through toe and shaft tip weights.  This elevates the MOI to match larger Ping irons for hotter launch characteristics. 

MicroMax Milled Grooves Ping’s MicroMax Milled Grooves are precision-machined for tighter spacing and geometry that results in an average of four extra grooves, reducing bladed shots on short irons and preserving spin on long irons.

Tour-Inspired Styling The Ping i59 Iron Set features a thin topline and proper offset for a cleaner, sleeker, Tour style aesthetic.  The hydropearl 2.0 finish repels water for more consistent performance in both wet and dry conditions.

Higher MOI With weighting in the toe and shaft tip to elevate MOI, the i59 irons were able to achieve a level of forgiveness unprecedented in a forged configuration.
