Titleist U-505 Premium Iron
The Titleist U-505 Premium Iron will help you reclaim your long iron game. The Premium classification of this U-505 utility iron signifies its Graphite Design Tour AD premium shaft option over the standard U-505. Taking input from Tour Pros, the U-505 provides the high, explosive launch of a traditional utility iron, but with a refined, more iron like look, feel and sound. The Titleist U-505 utility iron is outstandingly versatile for playability from any lie, with denser tungsten weighting for more forgiveness when you need it.
Max Impact Technology Hidden behind the face of the U-505 is its hidden power source. The Max Impact enhanced polymer core improves feel and mass efficiency at impact for more ball speed and better feedback. Combined with the forged L-Face inserts, the U-505 ensures dynamic speed generation with superior sound and feel.
D18 Tungsten Weighting Using an additional 40% more of denser D18 tungsten weights and a 2000°F brazing process normally used in aerospace engineering, Titleist was able to be even more precise with CG placement. Through Tour Pro testing, the weight was repositioned slightly lower and towards the heel where it improved launch dynamics the most.
Tour Form Utility Taking input from Tour Pros, the U-505 features a shorter blade, shallow face and wide sole to maintain its versatile playability. The looks and feel were designed to be more in line with the rest of your bag.
Performance Tuned The engineered Muscle Plate sealing the back of the clubhead features a structure and composition to help tune sound and vibrations while allowing the weight to be precisely placed for a more efficient CG location.
