Ping PLD Milled Anser D Putter - Matte Black
Bears the familiar geometries of the timeless Anser but the deeper “D” (a tour-player collaboration), has more mass to promote stability, consistency. Designed with tour pro input as a hybrid between the timeless Anser blade and a mid-mallet for its forgiveness and a deeper (“D”) profile. More mass helps stabilize the stroke, promote consistency and assist with more rollout for better distance control. These PLD Milled designs represent a combination of standard-setting favorites like the Anser D and newer, tour-inspired models. A premium level of precision and detail, each precisely milled and carefully crafted from 303 stainless steel. As we collaborate on new designs with our engineers and tour staff, we’ll add new models to the PLD Milled family to bring you tour-proven performance on the putting green.
Quality and Precision A solid block of forged 303 stainless steel requires more than four hours of milling time. Every surface and radius of the putter is precisely shaped to achieve the high quality and premium look expected in a precision-milled putter.
Tour Proven A variety of tour-inspired options ensures a model to fit your stroke and eye. Each design incorporates PING’s proven perimeter-weighting theories to deliver forgiveness and control for more accuracy.
Control and Consistency A precision-milled face pattern, known as deep AMP (Aggressive Milling Pattern), is inspired by tour player feedback and provides the feel and speed control you need to deliver score-lowering consistency on the green.
