A ball speed-enhancing cavity construction with within the frame of a players compact iron makes the Pro 223 something entirely different. An all new technology platform from 4-7 iron combines Mizuno’s Chromoly Forging and Micro-Slot Grain Flow Forging with a soft copper underlay and satisfying feel at impact.
Forged Chromoly with Flow MicroSlot The 4-7 irons of the Pro 223 irons deliver extreme ball speeds off the face from a small tour-ready profile. A laser welded partial hollow construction from 1025E creates hotter, more penetrating ball flight.
Compact Profile Beveled edges deliver the appearance of an even thinner topline and shorter head length without losing the playability from redistributed mass.
Soft Copper Underlay A microlayer of copper beneath Nickel Chrome makes for the purest, softest feel made famous by the iconic TN87.
