Callaway Mavrik Max Hybrid
Founder Ely Callaway was often referred to as a maverick in the golf industry. He took risks, pushed the envelope, and helped develop some of the finest golf clubs the game has ever seen. Callaway's new line of hybrids is boasted as "distance that defies convention." The Mavrik Max has a similar shape to the standard model, but boasts a larger body with the lowest center-of-gravity of the 3 models. The Max delivers a higher MOI and is much easier to launch from any lie. This is the first ever hybrid designed with A.I. (artificial intelligence), and features a low center-of-gravity and an extremely high MOI (moment of inertia). Just like the rest of the Mavrik wood family, the hybrid is constructed with high-strength steel called Flash Face SS20, and when combined with Callaway's Jailbreak and Face Cup technology, you get incredible ball speed and forgiveness. The Max line allows the mid to high handicapper replace irons all the way up to their 8-iron. Long par 3's and par 5 approached just become fun again!
