Founder Ely Callaway was often referred to as a maverick in the golf industry. He took risks, pushed the envelope, and helped develop some of the finest golf clubs the game has ever seen. Enter a driver that pays homage to him and pushes the technology envelope. The Mavrik Max has the largest footprint of all three Mavrik models. It's long, easy to hit, and has the most draw-bias capabilities for the player who struggles with a slice. The A.I. (artificial intelligence) designed SS20 Flash Face comes to play here with incredible ball speeds, thanks to that along with the FS2S titanium construction. The all new Cyclone Aero head shape is shallower from front to back, which reduces drag and increases speed. Callaway's Jailbreak technology creates incredible forgiveness on off-center hits and the T2C Traxial Carbon Crown is 6 grams lighter than a traditional titanium driver. The Max also features two interchangeable weights, a 2gram and 14gram, that are positioned near the heel and rear-center of the sole. Placing the heavier of the two in the heel creates a draw-bias center-of-gravity and helps reduce a fade. Placing the heavier weight in the back-center creates a super-high MOI (moment of inertia), for ultimate forgiveness and launch conditions.
